This course is designed to teach you the basic principles of compaction and density testing methods, with emphasis on nuclear testing methods. There are five lessons in this course.

• Provide an overview of the various methods used for measuring compaction
• Understand the theory of behind nuclear gauge measurements of moisture and density
• Understand the proper methods of nuclear gauge operation
